What Makes A Good Place Essay - 1752 Words

I have come to believe that life, even in its most rudimentary form, is precious and fascinating. At times I believe that we as humans tend to forget about the simplicity of life. If we hope to diminish our tendency to overlook certain simplicities, I expect that a good place to start might be reflecting on intangible concerns; such as, what it means to be a human in this world, or the reason behind waking up every morning. In search for clarity I asked myself those same questions. I started this process by reflecting on what differentiates us from one another; what makes each of us so unique? Even though from a scientific or physiological standpoint humans are quite similar, we still consider each of our identities to be distinctive in some way. I believe this internal perception of inimitableness must come from the unique stories, memories, and diverse experiences we are all subject to as humans. I am fully inclined to believe that the meaning of life goes beyond a beating heart, a nd that we are called to widen our knowledge of love and compassion in hope to fully accept each other among our differences. The minute we come to accept The Lord as our savior, the fear of God is instilled in us; a fear that we must learn to welcome; a fear that burns within our souls and reveals itself as a divine motivation to share His love and mercy among the rest of His Kingdom. We should not fear judgment from men, nor let our actions be shaped by trepidation of humankind.
